IFP Seattle Film+ in conjunction with the Northwest Film Forum and Kodak
IFP Seattle is partnering with The Northwest Film Forum to bring you the next Film + event with support from Kodak.
Shooting Film on a Low Budget
In a world of rapidly changing technologies where budgets are tighter than ever, filmmakers have a difficult decision to make when thinking about an acquisition format to shoot their beloved project on. What is the best look to tell your story? What format will help your project stand out? What post workflow makes the most sense? Shooting on film allows you to realize your vision on the highest quality capture medium and, with the help of industry partners, can fit your budget. Shooting on film also gives you the greatest ease and flexibility in post-production to deliver any conceivable exhibition format—from digital intermediate, high definition master, or traditional film print. Join IFP Seattle, The Northwest Film Forum, Kodak and local filmmakers and industry experts in a discussion about the affordability and flexibility of shooting film on your low budget projects and see a demo of the new Kodak film stocks.
